Thermal Chip & Pin rolls
Thermal paper rolls are generally used as a one part roll with the image being created by a ‘shiny’ heat sensitive paper. From 26mm to over 100mm diameter the Thermal roll range covers everything from the smallest hand held portable thermal printers to the largest desktop fixed thermal terminal printers.
All of our Thermal paper rolls are made using only the highest quality thermal papers and as with all our paper rolls are supported with the Allrol guarantee of performance.
Self Contained/Impact Chip & Pin rolls.
Impact papers are mostly used as either a single or two part roll for many Chip & Pin printers & are sometimes described as ‘Action’ papers. As with Thermal paper rolls impact papers are used in printers where no ribbon is used with the image being created by pressure being applied by the printer mechanism.
Legislation changes have dictated some specification changes on self contained paper rolls so be sure to specify single ply self contained rolls or Single ply Action/Impact rolls if there is only one ply of paper or two ply if there is two ply’s of paper.
